Still Alive and living in Downtown Perth

I'm Still Alive 6/8/07
Well here I am again preparing to go on a short, but enjoyable holiday once more. A friend, who works in the office of Harold Hawthorne, and I are heading to the South West of Western Australia, a really beautiful part of this vast continent.Most people seem to think we should be heading North to warmer climes, but neither Judy nor I like the heat and would rather don an extra woollie and go to the colder weather. We haven't made any accommodation arrangements, we're just going to go where the car takes us. Hopefully we won't have any problems finding somewhere to sleep, and if we do .......well we're never very far from home.Hopefully I will be able to catch up with one of my Grandsons who works down that way at a restrauant. He's an apprentice Chef, so perhaps we may get lucky and get something tasty to eat !! I'm also hoping to catch up with Laurie who retired to Albany with his wife about 3 1/2 years ago. He was the co-ordinator in the Computer Lounge when I first became a mentor.My next entry on this blog will hopefully be while I'm away. I will have to find a computer to type on !
