Pat and Jack were trying to spot a Kangaroo in the scrub country, but they were out of luck, I think the Kangaroos knew they were coming.

The train stopped at Bonnievale on the way to Kalgoorlie, much to our disgust, and we were off-loaded onto this bus. Much to our chargin the driver informed the full bus that the air-con was not working and was only blowing hot air.Did we want him to turn it off? The out-side temp. was about 40degs, so as no one spoke up he left it on and we travelled into Kal.,a distance of about 40kms in heat that must have quickly risen to 50degs. Pat, Jack and Thelly were almost exhaused by the time we arrived.
