Singapore and Cruise on the Aquarius

Liz and I arrived in Singapore on the 4th September 2008 where we were boarding the Aquarius the next afternoon to cruise to Penang, Phuket and Port Klang, well that's what we thought!We had thought it strange when it stated on our tickets which we had received from the Travel agent, Flight Centre, Belmont,that we went out to sea from Singapore where we stayed for a couple of days and then sailed back into Singapore where some passengers disembarked and others embarked. Now we know why !! For the first 2 nights we were anchored in the South China Sea while all the gamblers enjoyed themselves in the Casino !We were virtually on a Floating Casino, and we were not impressed !! Liz and I would have been quite happy to have stayed in Singapore and boarded the ship on the Sunday.
The photos of Liz and the Aquarius were taken on the 5th September.We visited China Town where I took the photo of Liz. It was all really pretty with the decorations. I quite enjoyed walking around China Town looking at all the cheap Nic-nacs.
