From Idaho

We are now at the Post Falls Library for me to update my blog.
Helena & I travelled East from Seattle going through The Cascade Ranges heading for Spokane. I saw my first mountain up close and personal., it was called MT. Si and it was magnificent !! Was'nt able to take a photo of it because it was just to hazy to big and to close plus we were on Highway 90 and really unable to stop. After we passed through the Cascades we came out onto the plains where farming is the main form of work. Potatoes, Apples,Pears and Corn seemed to grow pretty well. We travelled on until we came to a turn-off that told us Ritzville was only a short drive off the main Highway so we went and had a look-see. I loved it. Ritzville was a real "Hick" town and I laughed at the name.............'cause Ritzy it ain't !!! From there we travelled into Spokane where we spent the night at the Econo Lodge Motel. US$66.19 for 2 people. Clean and comfy. Had a good nights sleep, even slept in !! Now we're at a place called Post Falls in Idaho. Tonight we will be into British Columbia looking for somewhere to sleep. Banff, perhaps.
