Here we are in Margaret River and have just booked into a nice motel for the night, decided to come down and add a few lines on my blog.
Hope you are all managing without us, we don't really care if you're not ..... we are enjoying ourselves!!! Spent last night at Augusta in a very nice motel, had dinner at the pub, then breakfast this morning from the bakery. Eat your hearts out.
Today we have had a good look around and did the Voyager and Leeuwin Wineries where the price of everything burned our fingers. We bought a nice $5 (small) bottle of Grape Juice which will be polished off tonight and yours truly bought a lip balm/salve for a reasonable price.
We are surprised to see so many wildflowers blooming and the countryside looks lovely and green, we have had a few rain showers but nothing dramatic.
I was hoping to add a few photos onto this blog, but as usual I forgot my doover, which I left back at the motel.
If you are wondering how we got on for accommodation, it was quite easy because most of them are glad to have one room occupied and when we ask the price, and they say $120 we say we can't afford it and will look elsewhere. This then brings the price to $99, so we thing our bartering is improving - so watch out.
We are heading for Albany tomorrow , and would like to spend at least another month down here. Hope thats OK.???
Judy is due back at work on Monday, so we should be home by Friday.

Ahhhhh!!! That was it! I had the visuals flashing through my mind but couldn't put a name to it. It's amazing where the association of ideas can take you!!...not suggesting, of course, that there is any resemblance to our highly esteemed friends and colleagues!!

No Thelly, you may not stay there for a month. Despite the fact you are having a good time you are sooooooooooooooooo needed back here and I would say you will want to sort out them two, who by the way have stated they will not be in on monday, they fear for their lives NOW, I`ll help you sort them Thelly !. Enjoy rest of your trip, see you monday.
