This is the Souvenir Shop.It was built in 1936 in the manner of the other buildings.The whole place (The Alamo buildings and the surrounding gardens) are all maintained by The Daughters of the Republic of Texas. No Monetary help comes from the Govt. it comes from donations and sales from the Gift shop. It seems to me they do an excellent job because the gardens are lovely.
