A Day out in Perth and Hilarys

Pat wanted to see where some of her distant Relatives were buried so we headed for the Fremantle Cemetery and found the grave where my Grandparents were buried. My father's ashes were placed there after he died in Adelaide, South Australia. That's where he wanted to be so my mother fulfilled his wish.
As you can see, Bon Scott, from the music band AC/DC is also buried there. (Or his ashes are)and fans of his hold vigils there every year on the anniversary of his death.
We left there and went to a scungey Cafe that's make beautiful Meat Pies. After we had scoffed these down we headed to Hilarys Marina hoping we could have a walk around there in comfort. The first time we went there we were unable to get a parking space for Robert, so gave it a miss. We enjoyed our walk around the shops and had a lot of laughs. As you can see by the photo, Jack amused us donning a tissue box holder shaped like a kangaroo. A photo of that was a must !! We also went to the Dome for a coffee, which was enjoyed by all.
The day had flown past so quickly and it was now time to head home. We were going to Wave Rock the following day so an early night was in order.
