Yesterday, Friday, as Jackie wasn't well, Graham and I set out to see if we would be able to get a photo of the Olympic flame And have a visit to Stanley Park. No one can visit Vancouver without at least one trip to Stanley Park. I was interested to see the damage that was done a couple of years ago when a big storm went through the Park and blew dowm thousands of trees. The photo below is looking from Stanley Park across the Harbour to Vancouver. It was a beautiful day and a lot of people were taking advantage of the sun.

I know this is hard to see from here but a double click will bring it closer. It is the "Inukshuk", the symbol used at the Olympics

A veiw in Stanley Park. Graham's car in the foreground.

A view from Stanly Park of the cars entering Lions Gate Bridge.
