Vancouver Saturday 23rd Sept. 2006

Jackie spent most of today with her terminally ill friend, so Graham took me for a drive to Granville Island where there are markets. Arty type markets !! It was very crowded and as I could see no purpose in walking around, we continued. (I hate Shopping at the best of time) We went along the beaches. Kitsilano,Jericho, and Locarno Beaches to name a few. We also went around the British Columbio University. It is huge and Graham said it covers 12 square miles of land. And as Graham said, " When you only have 5 mins between classes it makes it difficult to be on time for the next class!!" We also drove around the Musquean Reserve. It is an Indian (Feather) Reservation. I found that interesting too. Some of the house were kept in good condition, with flowers etc. in the garden, others were very untidy with old car bodies etc. in the garden. From there we went to pick up Jackie at the Hospital, had dinner at a Restraunt called " White Spot", right next to City Hall and then headed home. All ready for bed.
