Shirl. & Fred at Bus Station.Perth 2007

Sorry about the shadows, but if I had stepped back much further I would have been on the railway line !

Monday 12th March 2007

My friends arrived in Perth at 4.55pm last Thursday. It was good to see them again. They had had a reasonably good trip but were glad to have it over and done with. We had plenty of news to catch up with. Old friends can always find plenty to talk about !!
We went out for a bite to eat, and as Shirl. and Fred were very tired after their long day they were glad to go to bed. I stayed up catching up with my e-mails, but as I knew we had to be up and ready to be at the Bus Station in East Perth by 9.10am, I hit the bed at 10pm myself.
I deposited Shirl. and Fred at the bus, took their photo, waited until they boarded the bus to go to Jurien and then waved goodbye and left. I was meeting another friend at Burswood Casino for lunch. He was also from Adelaide, but is staying with a friend at Mandurah. So once again there was a lot of talking. So much so, we didn't even have a gamble at the tables or the Video Machines ! I really had a lovely day altogether !
Now I am waiting for the 2nd April when Shirl and Fred will be returning to Perth. We are planning on travelling around the South West of Western Australia for a few days. I hope we don't have any accommodation problems !!! I may have to keep an eye out for somewhere to book on the internet. I would hate to think I didn't have a bed to sleep in at night !!??
