Watch this Space

Well my visitors from Toronto, Canada, will be here in 4days time. And I am wondering how they are going to tolerate this dreadful heat we have been having. I just hope their blood isn't to thick !! Pat said that Jack is keeping the furnace on hot so as they will be ok. I don't think either of them have ever been in 44deg heat, and lets face it, there may be Air-conditioning in the car but leave it standing in the sun for 15mins. and the temp. soon gets unbearably hot. But I'll look on the bright side and hope they will be able to handle it better than me, 'cause I hate it !!!
So keep on having a peep at my blog, because their holiday experiences will all be typed in here.

The Mentor's Xmas Party

Sunday 16th Dec. and once again the Mentors from Harold Hawthorne had their Xmas get-together. A good night was had by all and we all ate to much.
It was held at Pam's place this year and Pam did herself proud with all the food she prepared. Ofcourse we all ate to much !But we couldn't not eat when Pam had gone to so much trouble.
The table looked lovely decked out in it's Xmas theme. It was held outside under the patio because we were all hoping it would be a lovely warm night!! Wishfull thinking on our part because it was wet and cold. A little warmer would have made us much happier, but everyone but yours truly were able to don a winter woollie. I was already wearing a winter jacket, you know me, always cold if there's a breeze around.
A good night was had by all and on behalf of everyone there. Thank You Pam for going to such a lot of work. You must be prostrate with tiredness today !!
